Dream Box Delivery Japan’s Shopping Service (Domestic Shipping) is designed for international visitors to Japan.
We purchase the items on your request list and deliver them to your accommodation or a designated domestic airport for convenient pickup.
From food and daily goods to stationery, clothing, home appliances, and limited-edition merchandise, this service is perfect for travelers, especially those who:

We use Yamato Transport, a trusted Japanese courier, to ensure safe, reliable, and timely delivery within Japan.

If you wish to receive your package at another airport, please contact us at least 10 days before your intended pickup date.
We will review your request and do our best to accommodate it where possible.

Please make your payments as soon as possible. If your payment is delayed, we will not be able to proceed to the next step, which may result in your package not arriving by your requested delivery date.

Request Deadline

For accommodation delivery: At least 5 days before the desired delivery date

(Only available for airports where both delivery and pickup are possible. Requests may be declined depending on logistics.)

Precautions

It is the customer’s responsibility to check prohibited and restricted items before placing an order.

Refunds will not be issued in cases where items are confiscated or returned due to delivery restrictions.

Before placing your order, please confirm in advance that your chosen accommodation can receive and accept packages.

We are not responsible if your accommodation or the airport cannot receive your package.

Stripe transaction fees (4%) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

As a general rule, cancellations are not accepted after you have confirmed and agreed to the estimate.

Shopping Service (Domestic Shipping)
Terms of Service
Dream Box Delivery Japan ("we", "us", or "our") offers a Buy-for-Me Service (Domestic Shipping) for international visitors to Japan. This service (the “Service”) allows customers to request the purchase of items in Japan, which we then ship to either their accommodation or a domestic airport in Japan for pickup.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Service. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all matters concerning the use of the Service between us and the user ("you" or "the customer").
Article 2 (Service Description)
Upon request, we will purchase products in Japan on your behalf and ship them to your designated address within Japan, either at your accommodation or a domestic airport.
As a rule, we only accept delivery to domestic airports that we specifically designate. For requests involving other domestic airports, we will only consider shipping to airports where both delivery and pickup are possible, and only if you consult us at least 10 days before the intended pickup date. However, we do not guarantee acceptance of such requests.
Article 3 (Process)
You must complete and submit our designated order form to initiate your request.
Based on your submitted shopping list, we will estimate the cost and provide an initial deposit invoice consisting of the following:
(1) Estimated product total × 1.2
(2) Agent Fee based on item quantity (tax excluded, 10% consumption tax added)
You may cancel your request at any point before agreeing to this estimate.
After you agree to the estimate, we will send a payment link. Upon confirmation of your deposit payment, we will proceed with the purchase.
After purchasing the items, we will photograph them before and after packing and estimate shipping costs.
We will then issue a second invoice that includes:
(3) 15% of the actual total product cost as an Agent Fee (tax excluded, capped at ¥22,500)
(4) Domestic shipping fee
(5) Airport handling fee of ¥660 (tax included), applicable only for airport deliveries
If your first payment exceeds the actual product cost, the overpaid amount will be allocated to cover shipping and handling fees. Only the remaining balance will be billed.
Once the second payment is confirmed, we will ship the package and send you a shipping confirmation email with appropriate documentation.
Please complete your payment as promptly as possible after receiving the payment link.
As a general rule, the payment deadline is within 12 hours of receiving the link, both for the first deposit and the second payment.
Delayed payment may result in a failure to deliver your package on time.
Requests are processed in the order in which payments are confirmed.
Article 4 (Fees)
The following five items are chargeable under this Service:
(1) Estimated product cost (calculated as the GPT estimate × 1.2)
(2) Agent Fee based on item quantity (tax excluded, 10% tax added)
- 1–3 items: ¥15,000
- 4–6 items: ¥22,500
- 7–9 items: ¥30,000
- 10+ items: ¥37,500
(3) 15% Agent Fee based on actual product total (tax excluded, capped at ¥22,500)
(4) Domestic shipping cost
(5) Airport handling fee of ¥660 (tax included), if applicable
Payment is made in two installments:
- First payment: (1) + (2) (10% tax applied only to (2))
- Second payment: (3) + (4) + (5) (if applicable; 10% tax applied only to (3))
Overpayments from the first deposit will be applied to shipping and other charges.
A 4% Stripe payment processing fee will be added to each invoice total.
All prices listed on our website are tax-exclusive unless otherwise indicated. Consumption tax (10%) will be added to all Agent Fees.
Article 5 (Refund and Cancellation Policy)
You may cancel your request at any time before agreeing to the estimate.
Once you agree to the estimate, cancellation is strictly not permitted.
However, if you must cancel due to unavoidable personal reasons, the following rules apply:
- If the cancellation is made before any purchases are made, the second invoice will not be issued.
- The first payment ((1) Product Cost and (2) Agent Fee based on item quantity) will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- If the cancellation occurs after purchases have already been made, the first payment will remain non-refundable. Furthermore, if the actual purchase cost exceeds the estimated Product Cost ((1) Product Cost), you will be required to pay the difference.
If, despite the initial estimate and first payment, we are unable to obtain certain items, we will refund the difference resulting from any necessary adjustments to (1) Product Cost and/or (2) Agent Fee based on item quantity.
Please note that Stripe payment processing fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Article 6 (Request Deadline)
For accommodation delivery, the request deadline is five days before the desired delivery date.
For designated airport delivery, the request deadline is seven days before your intended pickup date.
For non-designated airports, we will only consider requests made at least 10 days prior to the intended pickup date, and only for airports where delivery and pickup are logistically feasible. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
We assume no responsibility for losses or issues resulting from the following:
- Errors or omissions in the information provided by the customer
- Product unavailability, discontinuation, or price changes
- Delay, damage, or loss caused by shipping carriers
- Refusal or inability of hotels or airports to receive or hold the parcel
- Any other issue beyond our reasonable control
This Service does not guarantee successful purchase or delivery of the requested items. You agree that we act only on a best-effort basis.
You are responsible for confirming in advance whether your accommodation can accept deliveries. We are not liable if the package is refused or undeliverable for any reason.
Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)
You must not engage in the following activities:
Providing false or misleading information
Using the Service for resale or commercial purposes
Requesting purchases that violate laws or public order
Intentionally designating inaccurate or inappropriate delivery addresses
Any other conduct we deem inappropriate
Article 9 (Changes to Terms)
We may revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be announced on our website or via other appropriate methods. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with this Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court located in the region where our office is based.
